Good condition old Winchester model 94 in 30 WCF (renamed 30-30 in 1951 I believe) This one was made in 1950. Has a Lyman peep site in the rear. Shows some signs of use from over the years (some blueing wear, minor nicks and scratches, etc) but overall good condition.

$550 plus $10 bgc at MK Tactical in Hillsboro. I'll pay the transfer fee. now $525 plus $10 bgc!

Not quite correct. Winchester started selling the 30WCF in 1894.
The good folks are Marlin Ammo Company decided to start making the ammo for them, calling 30WCF. Winchester got butt hurt and sued them. Marlin changed the name to Marlin 30-30, as part of the court settlement. Somehow in the last bunch of years Winchester started marketing thier rifles as 30-30 Winchester. Because the 30-30 was more popular than the factory 30WCF brand.

Your giving someone a killer deal. I had my 1949 for sale for $800, and yours in cleaner condition than mine. Mine is a safe queen, Ive had it for years, and shot it once.

Thanks for the info! The roll-mark on the barrel is "30 WCF". From what I read, in 1951 the roll mark was changed to 30-30.
