It's a post 64, push feed, one piece floor plate rifle.

Mike Palazzo must have done my post 64 "Classic" in 300 Weatherby also because it has that same exact break on it.

I've seen other rifles with a similar brake on them. It maybe something a gunsmith can buy and then attach to your rifle, I don't know but the one on my rifle is perfect.

Its all good. Was just thinking that because my rifle too is a model 70, the "Classic" model and is a 300mag. GLWS, nice rifle !!!!!!!!!!!!!
