I want to apologize to anyone that has sent a message and not received a timely response. Both parents are fighting cancer and things are just..... hectic. Thank you for your patience.

I have a Winchester model 54 ( .30-.06) for sale. This rifle is in pretty good condition (for it's age, it's in Amazing condition). You can tell this rifle was never abused. Very Light wear marks on stock. Some fading spots on the bluing (a few very light surface rust spots). Probably one of the nicer ones I've seen in my research on it. This rifle is over 85 years old and ready to go hunting today! The serial number puts its manufacture in years 1934-1935.
The mount and rings stay with the rifle. The rings are the only thing on this rifle that are scratched up.

If interested please PM me. I will return your message as soon as I can. Located in Vancouver, WA., I prefer not to ship.
Thank you!

Bronze wool and your favorite gun oil will get rid of surface rust without harming existing bluing.

In any event the Winchester 54 is a neat rifle.....Good luck with your sale....!

I would love to have that 30-06. I am in Milwaukie . It would be my new hunting rifle . I can't do a lot of driving at this point in time whoever gets this gun they should be happy campers as I know I would be one a happy camper .

Someone needs to buy this, you will not find a better deal on one of these in this good of condition. I have one that my Grandfather bought in 1936 and had been my deer rifle since 1968. It could still cloverleaf three shots at 100 yds when I retired it two years ago.

A little History: The Model 54 has a Mauser style control feed action which was carried over to the "pre 64" model 70's. After that they changed it to the push feed design.

Pics are terrible..... as soon as i put a light on it, every light scratch looks way worse. I doubt you could hook a fingernail on any of them. Every tiny bit of surface rust/dust stands out.
Probably just be best to see it in person. The photos make it look way worse than it is.
