Interesting to note the following:
This is a Monte Carlo Model of the 250.
Uses Walnut instead of birch in the earlier years.
missing the original monte carlo trigger (It was gold colored) Looks like from some older ads that the original Monte Carlo had the gold trigger but some of the others dropped that in favor of the black trigger like this one has.
It cost $66.95 brand new.
Gun was produced sometime between late 1968 and 1973
It also doesn't have the silly plastic front and back sites that the early years had!
Great looking rifle. GLWS Tempting but I really need something I can put a scope on.
