Winchester model 12 with US Military "US and Bomb" marks

Not all were "trench guns". The model 12 was also used as a training tool for aircraft gunners. Shooting skeet off of the back of a moving truck was part of training for B17 waist gunners. Taught them how to lead a moving target from a moving platform.

Yours appears to be a very nice refinish.
