This is a Winchester Model 12 16ga. shotgun with 2 3/4" chamber. Based on the serial number, I believe this was made in 1948. In good working condition but the bluing is worn.

Measured and it has a 28" barrel marked "MOD" on the barrel roll mark. This appears to mean Modified choke.
