Browning B-92 .44 mag.

I collected Miroku Brownings for a bit and have sold off all but a couple. I have two left, and have opted to sell off one and keep the other. I purchased this example, best as I can recall, in the late 1980's. The serial number of 08652PZ*** dates the gun, according to Browning / Miroku records, as having left the plant in 1981.

The gun conservatively rates in very good plus to excellent condition. It retains nearly all of the original blue. The barrel band at the front of the forearm is apparently aluminum and displays with some thinning on the high point. There are a couple of light superficial scratches present on the frame, and another on the mag tube. The wood has average figure and retains nearly all of it's satin finish although there are a few scattered handling marks present; none of which are through the finish.

The front sight was damaged when I purchased the weapon. It appeared as though the previous owner (or some Jethro wannabe gunsmith) had removed too much off the blade in an attempt to adjust it for elevation as opposed to simply using the rear sight step elevator. I ordered a new factory replacement from Western Gun Parts Ltd. (they acquired all NOS parts when Browning discontinued the Miroku B92 line), and had it professionally replaced by Kevin Wyatt of Wyatt's Guns and Repairs in Medford.

There are no additional holes present in the frame or barrel. A sling swivel stud had been professionally installed in the buttstock, as was a front sling attachment located on the mag tube about 2" in front of the end of the forearm, prior to my purchase.

The gun is very accurate off sandbags and is mechanically sound. I've test fired it only, and have not hunted or carried it in the field. It's been sitting in the safe and it's time to move it along.

See attached photos. Feel free to touch base if it's of interest. I'll be happy to shoot and forward additional photos and or answer any questions that you may have.

I'd like to realize $900~ for it.

Many thanks~

PS; Am looking for a couple of items in close to as new condition that I would consider as partial trade;

1) Uberti 1875 Remington (single action revolver)

2) Marlin 39a .22 lr lever. Older production; ca. 1950's late ballard or early micro-groove barrel.

PS: Don't bother texting - I can't receive or reply to them. I repeat - Do Not Text!

Amazing rifles. I had one in 357 Mag many years ago that I foolishly let go for stupid low price. I'm interested in this one if I can get some mad money together.

Nice rifle.. Worth noting that these do not have any safety outside of the hammer notch.... and that's wonderful. The way lever actions were meant to be. Hard to find a 92 now days without a safety..

Truthfully, I'd totally forgotten about this listing. I had it on this, and another, site. I'd pulled the other after selling my home and putting everything into storage last year, and thought I'd pulled this listing as well. And so, yes I still have it.

Thanks for the note re the mailbox. It took a while, since I am not terribly computer savvy, but finally figured out how to get rid of some of the clutter.

Thanks for your interest.

This gun, along with others, was put into storage quite some time ago. Since then, I have had bigger fish to fry after purchasing a foreclosure home and working on an extensive remodel.

Anyway, I still have it and, if interested, it's still available.

I still have it, and will hold pending hearing back.

In the past, I've dealt Legendary Arms located on Vilas Road in Central Point to process background checks and BATF transfer. If I'm not mistaken, it runs the buyer about $25~ for paperwork. You can reach them at (541) 690-1500. According to their posted hours, they are closed for the long weekend.

If you have another FFL that you'd care to use, feel free to check with them and let me know. Thank you.

That will work for me, is there a way I can get you my cell so we can coordinate later this week, feel free to email to address noted above or let me know where I can send you mine, thanks

Sorry about the belated reply. I am sheltering some folks from Phoenix who were evacuated from the Almeda Fire. They are scheduled to be able to return home (they are among the lucky ones whose home survived) tomorrow. I have a 10:30 appt, which should take an hour, and can meet up at Legendary Arms with you after that. Let me know what time is convenient.
