I've been around it since 1973,from 1973 to current it hasn't been reblued...

This has a different stock and hand guard. Winchester never made one like pictured. Also never had a padded butt plate on any of the stocks.

Was checking this again and looking through some “gun trader guides” and believe this has a Marlin model 444 stock and a 444SS hand guard on it

^ Those are not the same stock.
However, at this price it is still a good deal and the stocks can be corrected later.

I never said they were original to the gun. There was speculation of a Marlin stock and maybe it is, I am simply pointing out there were Monte Carlo stocks made by Winchester for the model 94.

Very interesting. Years ago, I looked a a Mod 39 that had this stock an forearm treatment.
