Oh, yuh think?!

Will terrorist attack on French press raise calls for more gun control?

With at least a dozen dead, including two French policemen, in this morning's terrorist attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, by three gunmen – in a nation where there are far stricter gun laws than in most of the United States – how long will it take the press to shift the focus from Islamic extremists to guns?

If the French were protected by a Second Amendment then:
  1. The cowards (semi auto rifles and bombs against unprotected civilians) who made this attack might not have happened
  2. People who were otherwise victims could have protected themselves

In Whacky Lefty Land they will want stronger gun control in areas where people are already still unable to own firearms. Probably also want counseling for the Muslim terrorists, I mean non-denominational religion of peace victims of Western Civilization...

Will they? Absolutely.

The question is will the blood on the walls be dry before they do?

You can not own any sort of PDW in France, the guns used were illegal. I'm sure the anti's will try to spin it in there favor.
I see this incident more reason for an armed citizenry. The governments of France and Australia failed to protect their citizens, again.

THIS WAS A FULL BLOWN AL QUAIDA TERRORIST ATTACK, NOT A WACKO GUNMAN.
WELL HE MAY HAVE BEEN WACKO, BUT IT WAS STILL A TERROROST ATTACK.

ANTI'S, BE DAMNED, YOU CANT STEAL THE BLOOD FROM THIS ONE !

It was reported that their eunuch police force arrived, saw weapons were involved, and scrammed. While it might not have made the difference in saving lives, a response similar to the one the Canadians had last year for the lone whack job at the Parliament bldg. would have definitely sent a message. Ever wonder why the nation they hate the most has the least attacks per capita? I don't.

Here's a follow-up with a question. Watch the SPD video carefully and see if you can spot something I refer to. For people who have been to LFI or FAS, or one of the other top schools, it should be easy.

Terrorists, loons or bangers; when shots fired, shoot back

Yesterday saw the release of two videos involving police a half-world away from one another, one from France showing the cowardly slaying of a French officer during the terrorist attack against Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and the other from a Seattle Police dash cam showing the south Seattle New Year's Eve incident in which nobody was apparently hurt.

Will anti-gunners exploit French attack? As much as I dislike her she give's a pretty good review of what she calls the rash of recent "low tech" terrorism by Islamists. It really jogged my memory, I had forgotten some of them!

Then at the end she asks the camera, or her audience of liberal drones........what's the plan to stop them?

I'll bet her idea of a good plan has something to do with stricter gun control.

I believe you are 100% correct.
Rachel Maddow said:
..... These more Lone Wolf style, low tech, easy operations. They're basically murder plots, that would be hard to predict and hard to defend against, but they couldn't be as lethal as anything that could be planned on a 9/11 scale.
Looks to me like she's conditioning the sheep to get them used to being prey. Then she will start the need for more gun control; "it may not be the whole answer, but it's a start, it's for the children, as long as it saves one life".

You actually give any traction to ANYTHING Rachel says?

Debate erupts over armed journalists after Paris attack

Something of an internet snit has erupted over the idea of journalists carrying guns in the wake of the bloody attack in Paris, and a story in Wednesday's Washington Examiner quoting author Emily Miller and opinion columnist Jed Babbin seemed to spark the debate.

She's worshipped by the anti-gun Socialist/Progressive Community. I like to stay informed on the propaganda she spews once in a while. No sense hiding my head in the sand.

This whole thing has made me re-evaluate the need for a better carry weapon. I'm about ready to go out and buy that commander sized 1911 in .45 ACP that I've been putting off buying for a few months now. In that regard, this kind of incident is counter-productive for the gun prohibitionists. I can easily imagine a similar incident at a local Fred Meyer, and if such a thing went down I wouldn't want to be "under armed".
