Will a psa ar10 lower work with bear creek upper

idstick with the same manufacturer if at all possible. too many variables otherwise. i went with aero m5 receivers myself.

no it won't work. I just tried. rear pin hole will not quite fit

On my PSA lower I tried a 24" ss BCA upper the rear pin off slightly, won't go in. Also bcg hits the buffer tube.

My BCA 24" upper worked fine on my PSA lower, but wouldnt work on my Aero Precision lower. AR10 has no mil-specs so it's a free for all between manufacturers

What did you do? Return the upper? (I'm having the exact same problem and I'm trying to figure out what to do)

Change the bolt carrier group and charging handle it fixed mine I'll only get a hang fire every 60 rounds or so

Just bought this same combo and it does the same thing... rear pin doesn't line up properly. Tapped it in (sketchy thing to do I know) ..bcg rubs buffer tube and is hard to charge.

@southpaw1969 , Please take this the way it's meant. I really don't want to come off as pedantic or condescending.

Give multiple vendors a hole pattern, a dimension, a thickness, even a bore, and they will usually get it right.
Give them a radius and all bets are off. It seems there are just too many ways to screw this up.
You don't even need to look carefully at where the outside radius of the upper and the inside radius of the lower interfere. Fix it .

Dy-chem or sharpie the area and get after it with a clean, sharp file.
Cut, fit, try. Wash, rinse, repeat. Go slow and check often.
This isn't a real big deal and happens much more than you think.

My fix for now is that I just ordered a PSA upper.... really didn't want to start filing and it still have issues. Then I would just end up going the route I did and have a BCA upper that I couldn't use for another build or sell.
