Why is the Department of Homeland Security buying so many bullets?

    Well exactly how many rounds should they be buying over the next 5 years according to you accounting?

    The US goverment depending on what is going on in the sand box uses 1.5 to 2 billion rounds of ammo a year. The US public consumes between 10-5 and 12 billion round a year.

    So how much should the government buy in each 5 year contract cycle?
