Similar.I am using NordVPN for my phones and laptops. It works fine with everything expect with my bank. I have to disable my VPN access to get to my banks website.
My primary laptop is running Linux so I enable the firewall once I have logged in. That way all connections go out only. I also have to disable my VPN when I print as well since I have a network printer connected to my router.Similar.
When I do online banking I do it planned & as quick as poss.
I can about see the Ukrainian, North Korean & Chicom hackers fighting each other to get into the system when the walls are down...
Hmm...I'm not using a VPN for this site.
