I actually DID whizz over a tow truck in an exhibition of urinary prowess. (It wasn't no hands though. It would be irresponsible and a menace to the publick to deploy such a firehose with inadequate control over it.)
You might be surprised at how quickly whizzing across a 2-lane road can get a laugh at a biker party. (or maybe not.)

"Son, there comes a time in every man's life when he stops bustin' knuckles and starts bustin' caps and usually it's when he becomes too old to take a whipping."

"I don't carry a gun to kill people; I carry a gun to keep from being killed. I don't carry a gun because I'm evil; I carry a gun because I have lived long enough to see the evil in the world. I don't carry a gun because I hate the government; I carry a gun because I understand the limitations of government."
"I don't carry a gun because I'm angry; I carry a gun so that I don't have to spend the rest of my life hating myself for failing to be prepared. I don't carry a gun because I want to shoot someone; I carry a gun because I want to die at a ripe old age in my bed and not on a sidewalk somewhere tomorrow afternoon."
"I don't carry a gun to make me feel like a man; I carry a gun because men know how to take care of themselves and the ones they love. I don't carry a gun because I feel inadequate; I carry a gun because unarmed and facing three armed thugs, I am inadequate."
"I don't carry a gun because I love it; I carry a gun because I love life and the people who make it meaningful to me. Police protection is an oxymoron: Free citizens must protect themselves because police do not protect you from crime; they just investigate the crime after it happens and then call someone in to clean up the mess."
"Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take a whoopin'!"

m too young to die and too old to take a whoopin'!"
NOT new, merged with old thread.Maybe try the search feature sometime.....

It is better to have something you may never need, than need something you do not have.

We live in a world where criminals are now considered victims. Things will get worse, better to be ready for it.

Don't be one of those... "it will never happen to me" fools.

I've not seen this, thanks For sharing.

Here is what I learned in training at a police academy:

In report writing class we were taught we would rarely encounter a crime in progress. Most people called the police after being victimized. We would arrive, write reports, and pass them to investigators. The instructor then said there are not enough police to provide every citizen a personal bodyguard. It is up citizens to protect themselves.

In other words, you call, we show up and write about it. Somebody else looks into it. You are pretty much on your own to protect yourself. We'll take care of it if you call us and we can get there in time. Chances are the suspects will be gone.

Here is what life taught me:

In a violent and/or life threatening personal encounter there will be two kinds of people... victims and victors.

Put another way, there will be the leavers and the left.

You have a choice. Will you be the victor who leaves the encounter? Or will you be the victim left behind on the ground?

The solution:

Two rounds where the male nipple line crosses the spine. Break the back, hole the aorta, pierce the heart or destroy a lung.

Shift your vision from attacker to front sight, don't worry about the rear.. Place the sight at the nipple line as described and shoot. More than one attacker? Shoot, shift, shoot. Apply as needed.

Be the leaver, not the left. That is why I carry a firearm. I intend to be the fellow doing the leaving, and not the one on the ground surrounded by a chalk line and covered by a sheet.

Agreed, too old to take a whoopin', to tired to run...

A sidearm equalizes the equation, it's just a tool for self defense. Not unlike a taser, a knife, pepper spray, a baseball bat or an asp...

:D

Couldn't agree more. It's pretty easy to put me in fear of my life. Bigger, louder, faster, threatening, angry, unstable, younger... there are a bunch of things that scare me. Especially threats. I'll take a person at their word, especially if they produce a weapon. Put me in fear of losing my life and I'm going to respond in the most effective way I can. If I have a way out I will take it, including being embarrassed and humiliated. Where there are no options I will act and the other team won't like it. I weigh around 170 and there isn't one ounce of bluff in the mix. Too old, too tired, but not done by a long shot.

First hit wins.
