Why can't I extend my membership?

It'll let me "upgrade" to a higher option, but nowhere does it let me extend my current Bronze which expires in a week. Why wont Joe take my money?

So the link dead-ends for me and no explanation why the page is restricted. Why's that? Is it a members-only part of the site?

It dead ends due to the fact that it is a link to a contributing members only area.

Sorry about that. When we converted from the old software to the new we were able to transfer the memberships, but the extend feature doesn't work with the old-software memberships.

Once the old-software memberships expire, a person can donate again (using the donate button), then extend their membership for as long as they'd like.
