I'm curious how in the hell they think that this is doing anything to "save lives." Show me with any certainty how making someone wait 10 days, who probably already owns guns, does anything to save lives! Background check passed? Then what more are they looking for?

it isn't about safety at all. It's all to attempt to make it so painful that people just don't even bother to try buying a gun. Yes, publicly they claim it's for safety, but their motivation is just to get rid of all guns.

^^^ Exactly. They don't think it will actually save lives, they simply pray to the "guns and conservative people are bad" religion and try to strip us of our rights early and often. Free speech, 2A, you name it.

I can get my family in for sure. But it annoys me how many people I know are so apathetic about this.

Look at the recent polls, the lack of turn-out is mind boggling per region!!
Yet, people complain when it's their reality, LATER!!!
