Why am I getting email from someone's reply?

This is annoying :complain:, when someone post a topic and I reply to the topic. Subsequently I'm getting email from everyone who reply after me. This is a good forum but if I'm getting unwanted email then it will discourage me from replying to any topic. I should only get an email if a member send me a private message. Thanks

Go to "user cp"

Then in the left column choose "edit options"

Then locate the "Default Thread Subscription Mode"

Set the drop down box to "do not subscribe"

Then save your changes.

It was pretty annoying at first till I found those options to delete it. And then it still took a few days to get rid of the emails. I think the moderators should reset the default new member settings to remove this option already.
