Fair price for the .308 I think, I don't buy any .223 or .50BMG so I'm not sure how that stacks up to others prices.

There is no minimum for a local pick up but they do need 3 hrs notice.

Anyone local churning out .45 ammo?

Went to the new Walmart in Yelm, and they had a bunch of Federal 22lr. I picked up a few boxes; not sure when I will see it again. I believe the price was ~$11.50 per 375 brick. I saw 9mm there too; cant remember the price. They were out of the cheaper 5.56; said he hadnt seen that in for a while.

I went to the Big-R in Colville a couple weeks back; they had PWC .223 ammo for $7.99 / 20rd. That was best price I found for all brass rounds.

Wolf/steel case stuff is available at Cabelas, but will not cycle properly and makes for a messy gun cleaning afterward. If it aint all brass, it aint goin in my guns. :gun06:

Open question - Who has primers?

Just got a copy of Jim Jacobe's newsletter for September with this information, for folks in the Salem/Portland area:

"If you have been planning to take one of our shooting classes and ammo is hard to find, or if the only ammo you can find is beyond your budget, I promise you this: I will have the ammo you need available on the morning of class for you to purchase at a reasonable price. Just let me know what you will be shooting.

For your shooting pleasure we have for sale the following in 50 round boxes, $20.00 per box:

40 boxes, .45 ACP 230 gr RN
40 boxes, .40 S&W 165 gr RNFP
40 boxes, 9 MM 115 gr RN
40 boxes, .223 55 gr FMG
40 boxes, .380 ACP 100 gr RN
16 boxes, .38 SPL 158 gr SWC."

I'm not sure if he'll sell to you without being currently enrolled in one of his classes, but it would be worth checking out if you are out of rounds. I haven't seen any .380, for example, since Lassie was a pup.

You can reach him here:

And no, I have no horse in this race.

Looks like fair prices but................the website appears to be down. Are they still around. Do you have another contact number?

Thanks

The phone # should be good.
Their host for the last 5 years just let em know that they do not support any gun related stuff.
They are in the process of getting that fixed.
