I only do simple hand loads (Lee/neck only) for a Tikka. Usually use just my factory ammo brass when I want to build something new and usually have good luck with my old Black Hills brass. (Winchester?) Lucked out and found some Nosler HS brass at a garage sale awhile back. Because I never touch anything other than neck and leave the forming to my rifle cylinder - I notice the Nosler stuff actually pushes in to battery a tad bit slipperier and easier than other reload brass - even after quite a few rounds now... (7+?) Same fire form.
I had old Peters stamped stuff that lasted quite a bit as well...

I've spent money on Lapua virgins - once. But I'm not chasing holes that close - just tuning a rifle best it can be to me. But those - they were nice, too.

Just always wondered who makes it. Nosler won't really say - some say its a mystery and have heard rumors for years. :s0092:

My crystal ball broke years ago but I was always under the impression Norma made the brass for Nosler. I have no facts though but have never had issue with it on several calibers.
