Don't like or listen to Lars and I have met him in person. I am too conservative for him

I listen to some of his stuff, but am way right of him anymore as well.
I suggest that anyone that does not like a radio talker, just learn to change the frequency.
Its easy Complaining about it here only shows who listens to him

I agree, I turned him off years ago. Now it's just music stations, if I want information I go to the news services on the net. Of course I have to sift through the bias but it's easier than listening to Lars.

Lars isn't a conservative in my mind, he is a radio entertainer that sells what some want to hear. Heck even Michael Savage says he is a conservative but it only takes a little time to figure out they have a focus group somewhere telling them what to say. I don't listen to what they say but watch what they do.

They have a first goal to make money and all else comes second. As with anything else, you have to sift and filter, and I figure my opinion is good for me and his is good for him and that is about all we can hope for.
I pay nearly zero attention to MSM, and hit the Net also. I believe far more out there from certain sites and filter others as well.
Getting truth anymore is a crap shoot.

One more note on Lars. I agree with about 40 to 50% of what he says, and believes but He is way too middle ground for my liking.
ie he is a little left......

BUT He is better than anything else we have locally.

Even they are not unbiased anymore. They have turned into a 50/50 crapshoot also.
Used to be ok but the past few yrs they pretty much suck too.

You're going to hate me for saying this, buy it why I listen to the BBC on NPR in the mornings. It's just news, very little to no commentary just telling me what is going on in the world. Anything that interest me I follow up on on my own. I don't need some paid TV personality telling me what to think or how to think based on the facts and reporting they project will help their bottom line the most.

for all I know they are completely neutral and 100% on the money factual. Just like NBC or CBS or FOX or PBS or Lars Larson or Rachal Mado.................
This is sarcasm^^^ None of these sources are neutral although some claim to be. The order I put them in is random and the list is incomplete.
IMO you have to listen to a wide variety of sources left and right to even hope to get the real story.

Exactly, on the rare times the story concerns something I actually know something about, I find they are often wrong. What about all the stories I don't have a clue and depend on them to inform me? Makes you wonder.

Anyway the original point of the thread was to be careful about sites that people believe to be factually infallible. So infallible that it shuts down debate without a second or third look.
Maybe they haven't shown a hidden agenda yet, maybe they have. Either way nobody is perfect or perfectly trustworthy.

Because the information they cite is not propaganda or hear say...it is easily verified with minimal effort on the part of the reader. They give you the foundation of the answer.
