I've got a Yugo underfolder and picked up a metal cheek rest. It comes w/ a couple of nuts and bolts and requires that you drill out 2 of the 4 rivets on the left side arm of the folding stock......Some factory looking rivets would be much nicer....Anyone know who does that? Anywhere from Olympia to Everett and Snoqualmie to Silverdale is fine. Thanks.
Um, yes I did do that and it was a dead end. Not many around do that either, judging by the response here too don'tcha think?
Most of these rivets are blind and were put in at the factory using a hammer and mandrel type of riveter. Is the backside of the rivet accessible to place a steel block on while peaning the front? If so, then a sheet metal shop may have the tools and know how. I did this years ago and was pretty good at it at the time.
