Who can thread the barrel on my AK pistol?

Hello,

I have a WBP Polish Ak Lynx pistol that I ordered from Atlantic Firearms. At the time, these did not come with threaded barrels. Atlantic says the "doughnut" on the end of the barrel is just spot welded on and allows easy threading once off. Is there a gunsmith in the Vancouver area who could take care of this for me?

I have a triangular file, I can put threads on anything with that badboy.

There are some good smiths on this forum, they keep an eye out. I'll be interested to see the finished work.

Doesn't make sense to me why they'd cap a plain muzzle....you sure there aren't threads under there?

My thoughts too...thats how all the yugo pistols were imported. Just remember, left hand theads!

1000% certain the barrel is not threaded under the donut. I purchased from one of the original lots when they came into the country about a year ago. Now, after customer demand, Atlantic is threading the barrels once they arrive into the country.
