Of the ones I've used, in order of preference:
1) AK-100 series left side folder. You get the compactness of a folder w/o giving up cheek weld or lock up.
2) Fixed WP length, either wood or plastic. I'm 5'10" and find that length just about right.
3) Underfolders. They look cool but suck if you're actually trying to shoot with one.
4) Various crutch right side folders. Just as uncomfortable as the underfolder but doesn't look as cool.
Haven't tried the different chicom folders.
