Where to shoot Vancouver/portland

Yeah you can shoot ARs at Safefire. I also 2nd English pit.

Or just drive 20 mins outside of town.

Keep an eye out for forum forest cleanups. Happens spring thru fall and you'll find forest ranges that way.

If your new to the US and this area then the forests are not always safe so bring someone who knows the area and how to handle meth heads - no joke. Always keep a loaded side arm at the minimum, even when setting up targets.

The english pit is your best bet. It's off from 192nd just north of 1st street.

They have a 50yd sight in range and 100yd shooting range for rifles.

The very first time I went out shooting, went out with a friend of mine to some BLM land.

Were driving around quite a while trying to find something with a suitable backstop etc, came up to a campsite setup out there...my buddy comes up to my truck all on alert, then all quiet like-he says "lets get the F**k outa here...". He figured it was meth heads.

I've had a couple "odd" experiences up at Tillamook State Parks N Fork Wolf Creek range as well, but can still highly recommend it.
