where to shoot my hood?

just looking for a road to head out on and do some shooting with my son, I use to go up above north fork reservoir/silver fox TV park but I think it's all shut down now, I live in Gresham and don't get out that much anymore would like to go make sure my hunting rifle is still on target anybody have any suggestions other than the gun club sight ins?

I lived out in gresham for quite a bit. Your two best places are the english pit shooting range. No membership required. They have a rimfire range/pistol and 100yard rifle range. The last place that you can go is deep into mt hood.
You could try memaloose gravel pit.

Up above Scott's Mills off Crooked Finger Road is where I go these days. There's one place you can get over 300 yds if nobody else is there that is set up closer to the berm. There's also some small old rock pits that are great for pistol and 22LR shooting.
