I'm brand new to competitive shooting but want to give it a go this summer. I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction to find some local F class or F-TR matches. I live in Vancouver WA and am willing to travel an hour or so to shoot in these matches. Also, will I be competitive with my factory Savage 10PC in .308 with a Vortex 6-24x50 scope or am I going to look like a fool? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Douglas Ridge is your place.

You aren't going to look a fool for your equipment. Can't comment on you personally. ;-0

Right on the money I think. If you go it with your ears open and ask the right questions, you are going to learn a load.

The world champs shoot there. Team Savage.

Thank you both for the quick replies. I'll look into DRRC and go as a spectator the first time to ask questions and prepare myself for my first match. I'm pretty excited about this since I love to compete and look forward to meeting other gun nuts like myself:)
