Does anyone know where to find Alliant Powder Pro 2000MR powder in the Portland or southern WA area? It came out last year but nobody seems to carry it locally. I read some really good reviews on it for 308 so I'd like to try a pound but I don't want to spend $60 for one pound of powder ordering it online when you factor in the hazmat charge.
I tried NW Armory, Bi-Mart, Sportsmans warehouse, brightwater ventures, little bear gun shop, and a few other places and can't find the stuff anywhere. I asked Alliant and they said it's been shipping for a few months and just ask local gun shops to keep it on order and they'll eventually get it, but for a 1lb order just to try the stuff before ordering more I don't think anyone is going to go for that.
