Where to catch crawdads around Eugene?

I scored some live freshwater prawns at Costco around 15 years ago.. they were about a foot long and awesome..

They still sell those? I can get my step-daughter to bring me some from Boise...

I don't know. It seemed they'd bring in the live stuff about 1-2 times a year.

I'd go to Boise for live ones. Safeway used to do fresh deliveries from AK... salmon, etc, not doing it anymore for some reason. I hardly eat fish anymore because we got spoiled eating it fresh in Brookings OR. Fresh tuna, shrimp, off the boats. Fresh catch of the day (lingcod or snapper) at the fish/chips. Fresh salmon off my rod. I just won't eat any fish that has been frozen.
