I am lookin for the "Best bang for my buck" in Pistol cases
Just got a pelican 1090 but alitle overkill for now (only have 1 pistol)
I am looking for a nice heavy duty LOCKABLE (either built in or padlock) pistol case if padlocked case something not plastic to hoop the lock thro like my pelican case is. Seems easy to get into with a pair of snips or a knife.
I would ultimatly like something I could chain under my seat and trust it will be "safe" yet compact and light enough to carry my pistol to the range in or store.
Best place to buy? Only really looked at fred meyers and wally world and no luck just not tryin to drive all over looking for it. Next if no good ideas from here may look at Wholesale Sports or Hobo frieght? Really just need a Heavy steel box with a handle I could add a latch and lock if needed. And can get foam to cut and shape the perfect fit. (gotta do that to pelican case anyways)
