Hello fellows shooters!
Recently there was a discussion about the provenience of the Glock pistols. Does anybody knows for sure if they are made in Austria or they're made in Smyrna, GA.
One fellow member was told by a salesman at Keith (or at least this is what he swears he was told) when he bought a Glock pistol that the pistol was "imported from Austria" not a pistol made here in Smyrna, GA, thus the pistol was more "valuable".
Reading information on Glock's web-site and on Wikipedia it looks to me (and that was my impression all along) that they were made in Austria and sold in the US by their Smyrna, GA headquarters.
Can anybody shed some light on the subject?
Thanks,
Nick
