i would love to get a natives perspective and learn about the state, gun laws, where the good gun shops are and stuff like that. Better cities to live and stuff along those lines.

I'm really excited to get up there and bring my vote and attend rallies to get one more like minded vote and body to try and keep Washington from gaining more anti momentum.

Id even pay for fuel (if you insist on driving but I rarely don't drive my own truck), lunch etc. I think it would be extremely worth while to bring a new single issue voter and show them around and get the lay of the local land. I'd like to learn where some BLM places to shoot at as well as the ranges and smiths that are worth the time and money and other shops that aren't worth the time. Maybe a day of the weekend or overtime a few places to show and introduce me to some clubs or fellow shooters.

Every day I exhaust myself in the moving situation but the one thing keeping me going is that I'm going to a far more open minded state where I can exercise my rights far more easy going than komiefornia.

Anyone willing to do that I can pay you for the time or Ammo.. I am extremely easy going and get along with damn new album

No response to this post? I'm pretty much at a loss for words unless the op has been contacted by pm.

nope. Figured someone would. I know i have done this for other gun owners, jeepers and others in hobbies im in that are looking for even just some info. i'll drive, i'll pay, i'll hook up the person with ammo of any caliber. Just looking for shops to avoid and others that may be better or have better customer service even if they are more expensive. its a work day now though so people probably haven't seen it.

The only thing I see to be a detriment is your being so new to the site. BUT nothing ventured nothing gained.

I'll figure it out no matter what, just may take longer with a higher priced learning curve. I'm no newbie just posting a drive-by and will be here so long as I'm in the Pacific Northwest which will be at least 10 years.

Now I need to lookup if I have to "register" my guns moving into the state like I had to do when coming from Texas to komiefornia. So many laws to learn and stay legal... And they say we need more gun laws... Geesh!

I'll be moving the first week of September and staying with my older sister for a few weeks while I see apartments for myself but I'd like to try and get lucky and find a place not far from medical care as well as somewhere to shoot that isn't hours away.

Sold all my ca off roster guns to keep them in the state for sticker price (not going to profit off the struggling ca market and fellow fighters), house is sold and sold the corvette today.

Is there a charity this forum fully supports outside the gun rights? In my car forum we support st. Jude's bringing in a few hundred thousand a year. Still going to help calguns and I'm a diehard car guy so st Jude's gets my donations along with NRA-Ila but was wondering who the groups are up there to volunteer with to protect our rights?

No registration here... YET. With that "time on station" you'll probably be here to see it if Bloomingdouche keeps buying initiatives and legislators, though...

Best advocacy we have is the somewhat wonkish CCRKBA and SAF, and Washington Arms Collectors's PAC affiliate GOAL-WA. Local NRA is as useless as bull-tits...

Thank you so much for the info. im a fighter (not physically unless seriously provoked) but i'll put the time and effort into maintaining and regaining our rights... im not a sit back and let it happen type of person at all. Gotta keep pushing back and not give up.

Marysville isn't too far from the Skagit Muzzleloaders where I shoot.
Also I do a lot of shooting in the Deming / Acme area , which again isn't too far from Marysville.
Let me know if you are interested in meeting up The JOe.

Awesome! Maybe I can finally shoot my black powder southern pistols!!!!!! No ranges within 3hrs from me allow black powder

For anyone interested, i am a very knowledgable member who participates hard to keep our rights and regain what we have. sold all my CA "off roster" pistols to keep them in the state and help out my fellow brothers in arms (all legally mind you) with NO MARKUP and took a loss on most but I had to keep them IN STATE or they will never get back. Also driving to different counties and getting the 7 recently passed BS gun control laws overturned with almost 1/2 million signiture.

Been to sig academy, front site, gun site (almost all classes),and even that youtube bald goober... legit instructor and have/will teach (in depth ONLY) how to properly handle/store/laws with their guns.

starting up a gun business right now and talking with manufacturers and patents.... Disabled but not out of the fight!

Don't care if you are straight, gay, bi, trans, male/female, child, i will teach for free, use my collection or acquire what you are interested in and teach you all about it on MY DIME and MY AMMO. Got to pay it forward and stop the anti's. Work closely with pink pistols and voulenteer with veterans. Good guy, bad genes/luck and my arm is infected from getting the house appraised tomorrow. I will pay it forward 10 fold EASY.

Also an electrician (licensed), Class A, computer tech, best with mechanics like cars (older than 2010 it seems) and restored over 100 cars ranging from 41 fords to painting a clear coat ripped up truck. Im one of the most available and willing person to help out others.

Going to arrive up around the 2nd when escrow closes depending on the appraiser tomorrow but not worried. Have family in marysville but probably going to end up 45 min south (forgot name of city) but due to health conditions i need to be around a few specialists for a while.

Got my apartment setup, move in on the 6th of September. Come to me cooler weather. im done with 110+ 8 month summers in CA/TX. Going to be near the Providence Hospital???? Putting a lot of faith in my a branch of my family's recommendations.

freaking sweet! Getting a Tavor and a ferret straight off the back LOL!!!!! I hope to meet some PNW shooters. time to study the gun laws in Washington. 30 yrs of junk left behind, fresh start, hopefully good doctors and maybe my luck will turn around? hope so...

Gonna hopefully have 1 more move in my life to outside Boise if i can get healthier but that's it. by the time i ever end up in Boise, that's where i'll likely die. Can't wait to see that part of the country and take it all in. beyond tired of flat brown land or even in CA drought ridden ca brown hills. I want to see some green scenery in my life.

See you whatever you call yourselves next month haha.

You'll be close to Cabela's, Skagit Arms up in Burlington is not a bad shop. There is "past the horse park" above Hamilton, WA open pits to shoot but I have never been there so not sure if this is still the case. A good outdoor range is Plantation S of Bellingham. County run public range that is not too expensive and lanes are covered from the rain. The Monroe WAC show is fun for me as sometimes I find something oddball or a good deal.

Doc Holliday's in LaConner is a small, friendly shop, some rare guns for sale to some Magpul and other jewelry for ARs. I am in the islands now so don't get around Skagit and Sno Co as much as I used to. I'd be up for a meet sometime From Cabela's north. Just need lead time as we have ferry reservation system and it's a $50.00 bill for every trip.
Get your CPL ASAP, just a trip for fingerprinting in Snohomish County or Marysville PD, passed BGC and a couple weeks or so depending upon their work load.
Only real obnoxious gun laws in WA now are BGCs for any sale. We still have standard 30 rd cap mags legal. All ARs are legal, just no full autos. If go with an SBR vs AR pistol you need a tax stamp for the SBR.

Boycott Starbucks or other biz that say no CCW, or simply do not comply if CCW is legal for you. We could use your vote so register ASAP when you get up here.....our Guv' needs to be tossed or I suspect he will go full Kate Brown on us in WA if he is re-elected.

You will love it up here. I have lived in both Cali, FLA and Tx, their weather sucks! Wet side up here we have 4 distinct seasons. You'll learn to appreciate rain...it allows you to stay inside and clean the guns! Welcome to a much better place than Kali. Me, I am likely retiring in N. Idaho in a few year.
