SCCY CPX-2

Great gun? Nope.

Reliable gun? Yes.

Cheap gun that I won't cry if it's taken into evidence but it will protect me if needed.

9mm made in Florida and warranty is for life.

Not my preferred carry but one that is always around

Don't try me bruh...

I have a Kel-Tec P-11 I bought decades back. Had always had a .38 5 shooter for coat pocket carry. When one kid struck out on her own last one went with her. When I went to replace sales guy was talking these up. I was VERY leery due to how cheap they were. Bought one and impressed hell out of me that 11 rounds of 9 fit in a package as easy to carry as those .38 5 shooters. Still often carry it after all these years and its just always works. Like Joe's SCCY if it sat in evidence would not matter to me that it saved my butt and was so cheap. The SCCY was made by a guy who learned by working at KT. Have shot a couple of them at the range and was impressed again by how small, light, and how well they worked for a very low price pistol.

Through all of High school, the military and just a little beyond, till I started Packing a pistol, A Staghorn Case Bulldog that looked nearly Identical to this one was my EDC:
cbd.jpg Unfortunately, it was liberated from me in Northern Canada in 1970, and one of the reasons I started carrying a pistol when I returned.
I still miss that knife :(

Not sure if it fits the billing but I do enjoy carrying my SW model 36 or my Ruger LCR...something about a 5-shot does it for me.

My LCR is plastic fantastic's so I qualify as a cool kid.

Ruger SR 45, GP-100
Rock Island 1911 45acp or 38Super
Tisias Devil Ray
Springfield SA-35 (my wife's but if I ask nice she'd let me carry it)
Browning 1911-380
And then Glocks, Sig's and S&W's as well
It's good to have choices.
