I've been wanting a Springfield Armory Ronin Operator since they first dropped about 3 yrs ago. 2020? 2021? 22? Yeah... good luck.

A quick trip past the gun cases at Ranch and Home was the first time I'd actually SEEN one "in person".

So l bought it.

I'd call it a mid-level 1911... under a G, forged parts, nice finish but not hand-fitted. 5" .45, just as the Lord says it should be.

Dated relic or classic?

I think it's retro-beautiful

It was like that for me and the Ruger SR1911. it took a while to find one, but I bought the first one I saw!
