Impulse bought a Tavor TS12 today. No regrets.

By buffer I assume you mean suppressor? You can shoot .22 though 9mm can.

But 9mm can usually much wider diameter, often (1.375"-1.5"), though which means your ruger and/or ppq sights will no longer work cuz can blocks them. Most .22 suppressors are 1" in diameter which doesn't block sights. Odessa 9 is only 9mm can I know of that is very narrow like a .22 can. I'd have to check its diameter but it's likely very near 1". Also 9mm can is much larger overall and much heavier (usually 7-10 ounces or so). So when you put that big chunk on your ppq .22 you are going to notice it. 22 suppressors are small and quite light weight.
I'm on a move now to learn more about the suppressors. According to the one you mentioned "The Dead Air Odessa 9 is an extremely modular 9mm pistol suppressor rated 22LR all the way to 9mm."

My latest impulse buy was a 2000 Jeep WJ complete sans an engine, brought it home yesterday. This morning bought a complete 4.0L to drop in it. We just finished putting a newly rebuilt 4.0L in my son's 2004 WJ and now we are going to compete in building the best off road toys. His has to be a daily driver though, so I'm cheating. I can't wait to do this with both of my boys, will be many adventures along the way.

The deal with Odessa 9 is you buy it for the thin profile. But It's long. Pretty much any 9mm can can be used with 22. The problem with that though is you have 9mm hole. A .22 can would work much better for .22.

If I were you I would get a .22 can first. It's going to be very effective at reducing sound with subsonics. They are also inexpensive, light, and small. That makes them especially nice for any .22, including pistols. 9mm cans are none of those things (ie they are expensive, heavy, and much larger than a .22 can). Then you can get a dedicated 9mm can later.

If I remember correctly someone said Sparrow 22 is good?
Should I wait for President Trump to get in for ATF reform?
Thanks

I bought an 8lb jug of win supreme 780 powder for $137 shipped. I am still skeptical about there being a powder shortage but I haven't seen powder this low in awhile. This is the first jug of powder I have bought since beginning of August.

According to Hodgdon the 780 powder will work in more than a half dozen cartridges I load for.

My advice is don't wait for anything. Never been a better time to buy a suppressor. Very short wait time right now.

Tbh sound wise it doesn't matter much what suppressor you get for .22 other than maybe tone differences and/or first round pop (excluding tiny cans which are louder).

Light weight ones are beneficial for small pistols imo. Flow-through designs may be beneficial for reliability on some guns. The trend is going towards flow-through designs to reduce back pressure but I'm not sure it's that important for .22.

Everyone has their favorites on brand. Fe dead air mask and sparrow are two very popular ones. The mask weighs 6.6 oz. So it's on the heavy side. I don't know weight of sparrow.

Titanium ones like otter creek titanium are about 4 oz. Huxwrx flow 22 is 3.9 oz. Jessie's girl aluminum is only 3.1 oz. I have an inexpensive aluminum baffle one and it has been excellent and very light weight (3.8 oz). Also a 3d printed TI one and about the same db level (measured with mil spec fast rise impulse meter) and same weight. Less first round pop on the flow .22 though.

Cans with removable baffles can be cleaned the conventional way. 3d printed cans like flow 22 can't be taken apart (all one piece) so are cleaned by soaking in solution.

A Microtech Feather lmao. Originally was going into my local gun store for a Benchmade dagger but they didn't have any in stock at the moment and it just fell into my hands I promise XD

I bought a few more 9mmnhappy sticks. 30 rounders for $7.49 each on sale. Just the black ones. They had some cool translucent colored ones as well but they were like 20 bucks. Got to be practical.

Stinking impulses! Went to the local BiMart to pick up some mouse deterrents, stopped by the sporting goods counter just to have a peek (y'all know we loave to do that!) and saw they were having a sale on certain items. This Girsan MC-14T being one of them. A very good price indeed and some how, after much fondling, it ended up in my shopping bag!

Nice . Same day BGC ?

Picked up all of this brass for $60 on Sunday. Definitely an impulse buy.

A new 10.5 upper. Stupid because I have a 7" and the 10.5 isn't going to do anything different than that but I just wanted it when I saw it and well they are relatively cheap so why not right?

Got me a Smith 629 5" full lug coming in the next couple days. The Smith revolver rebates are too juicy to not take advantage. With the $150 N frame rebate, it's hard to find a used one that makes it worth my while over new with full warranty.
