I'm on the hunt for some N frame revolvers. Been poking around local stores to see what's around and just about nobody stocks any. L frames, K frames and J frames, even X frames aplenty. No N frames. I'd like to find myself a 629/29 or a 627/27/28 ideally but you never know what you'll trip over

I think Bob Swearingen on Sears Rd in Cottage Grove has a 629 in Stock.

I'm not really sure at this point. May an HK 45 ACP pistol in DAO. Maybe the new Ruger Glock clone but I'm not sure as it doesn't have interchangeable back straps like my Glock 19X. That would be a throw away gun, or at least I wouldn't care about losing it after a self defense use. It's only 400 bucks new.

The HK is 750 and would also be one I wouldn't be too worried about using after a self defense situation. That's why I want DAO. Manual safety. Holds ten rounds. And costs a fraction of myn1911's, although my Kimber was had brand new for less than 1000 bucks. Still wouldn't want to lose it though.

If you are ok with Dual action only, this one is nice

I have a p220 DAK that I find quite shootable. All you do is pull the trigger, no safety or sa/da. All the same pull every time.. saying that I still love the 1911 platform.

Killer deal here. Walther PDP full size optic ready with free red dot and possibly free 100 rounds of ammo for $475. Not sure if ammo rebate stacks or not.

Don't be silly and pay $400 for a piece of crap ruger/magpul Glock copy when you can have a much, much, better gun with a 5x better trigger for only $75 more. Just no comparison at all to that ruger thing.

Side story -- I live in Texas out on the edge of civilization. On my Ring one morning in the Neighbor section a woman who lives even closer to that edge posts a video and asks "Does anyone know who's dogs these are out at 3am?" When told they were coyotes she couldn't believe it because those are wild animals!!! I saw where she lived and had to tell her that right across the she from her was about 200 acres of scrub, that she lived in the country. Makes me chuckle just to type this.

OK Back to serious stuff!!

I laid a way a CZ TS2 SAO 40 S&W and will pay it off this week, I was sweating the mag ban thingy. Got it for more than $400 off MSRP

Think you'll be shooting that baby at the next match?
I hope to, but first some range time to get familiar with it. I have a holster on order from Red Hills Tactical but they told me it would be a month before they get it built. One of the draw backs of being left handed, the right hand one was in stock and it's just big enough that it won't fit in my Shadow 2's holster. I do plan on shooting the next befit steel match one way or the other.
