My inlaws just bought some land outside of Randle, WA and while I can't hunt on it, it's surrounded by national forest.

What's the hunting like up there?

I'm probably not going to make it this year, but am planning on spending a lot of time up there next year.

I've never hunted in WA before. But I'm for sure looking for deer and squirrel.

I'm up for muzzleloader and centerfire.

What's the scene like up there, anyone know?

There is good hunting around there but forget the squirrel for washington unless you intend on hunting in the city.
Squirrels aren't very big and some are protected.Nothing like the south east
Should be bear around there

Yeah I read a lot about squirrels. Very disappointing.

I'll shoot for rabbits for my small game hunts.

Bears eh? I've never considered them. Tactically speaking, how does it compare to deer hunting?
