What's the value of a savage 99a SN C417xxx

    This gun is in great functional shape, pretty decent blueing wear on the barrel. No brass on it. Looks all original to me. No dings in wood, hooded front site, has bases added on that look like Weavers. Bore is good.

    So, what's the value? When was it made? Any help?

    Thats Odd . Winchester didn't develope the 243 untill 1955 did they? And then Savage adopted it for their 99's.
