Hey everyone,

If I were to sell a shotgun/rifle to someone in another state what would I need to do? The buyer plans to send me a USPS money order and info to his FFL. Once the funds clear, I would go to my FFL and have him/her ship out the firearm to his FFL. Just wondering what else I would need to do?

If his FFL will accept items from a private party, you can just ship it directly to his FFL. May save you some money.
If in doubt about his FFL, once you get the FFLs info, there's a website you can check for current Lisencee status.

You are good to the point of shipping.

You can ship directly to his FFL (assuming they accept private party shipping)

Buyers Name
C/O FFL-Gun Shop
Their Street
Xyz town, State-Zipcode

If it is the over and under and not the saiga you are selling than you are good. Some states frown on the saiga so you would need to check their laws.
