Is this a real question? There's plenty of off topic things to discuss. The problem is when it devolves into something political, which it usually does because someone decides to jump in with a comment like "You're hungry for baloney? Blame the liberals!" and then that statement gets countered and debated and the harmless thread about baloney gets closed. It's not that hard to figure out. Talk all you want about your processed meat, just keep the politics of your meat out of it.
