Let say for instance a person has 2 dozen or more rifles any of which might end up being a SHTF gun, And they range from single shot .22's to an M1 Garand and Shotguns what does that say?

Those were great. I have no doubt MANY get too butthurt to enjoy the humor but those guys are funny as hell.

I get "called out" a lot by tundra tactical. None of my choices are ever "good"

Being one of those guys with all of those guns (except the Mosin Nagant - I have an Enfield instead), most of my choices are not "good". But the collection is greater than the sum of the parts, and while I think of most of them as useful if SHTF, I don't think of all of them as a primary SHTF gun. I also think of them as a layered "defense", or as useful for different things.

There is no "best", everything has its pros and cons.

That said, I will totally admit to having concentrated too much on guns & ammo, and not enough on many other aspects of prepping for SHTF.

He didn't review my SHTF choices of the AR platform, but I am still working on identifying the fifteen lbs of useless crap I'm supposed to attach to my picatinny rail. I have been eyeballing a tactical QD pic mount spare battery holder to support all the electronic gizmo's I'm supposed to have.
