One miniature combination Russian phrase book and Bible...
One hundred dollars in rubies...
One hundred dollars in gold...
Nine packs of chewing gum...
One issue of prophylactics...
Three Lipsticks...
Three pair of nylon stockings...

Hey Folks,

There are endless discussions on SHTF and "Go" bags. But lately I've been thinking about a "Go" box. The size of a rubbermaid tub that can be put into the car or pulled along on a bike cart that has SHTF essentials.

So the question is: what would you include in a single SHTF rubbermaid tub?

I may be sitting just under the arc of the comment here, but as humorous as some may think this suggestion to be... unlubricated rubbers are actually pretty versatile items for a BO/SHTF bag. They're watertight, and can be used for transporting (a lot of different) liquids and also can be used to protect, i.e. muzzles if there was any danger of the muzzle of your weapon having to be used for digging, etc. Not to mention the prescribed use Just don't forget to add lube in that case.

How about one of those electric mini chain saws? The wife talked me into buying one for her to use in the yard and it's pretty great. Came with 2 batteries and 3 extra chains.

Daughter gave me a Ryobi storm kit. It has a lantern, radio, and power inverter that has 120 volt and USB outlets. I keep it in the car but could also be used at home during winter storm power outages, etc. The only fault I can find with it is that the radio does not have an AM band.
