That sounds like a bad idea. Aside from reduced accuracy, you're not headspacing against the end of the case. The only thing holding the cartridge in place will be the extractor, which is not good for the gun long term. Also the case is narrower at the crimp than a Mak case, so a gas seal against the chamber is harder to achieve. And Mak ammo is probably cheaper than .380 anyway.You can fire .380acp 9x17mm through it as its undersized a bit .355.
