I recently started the 80% build adventure and I'm on the bottom of the learning curve.

I think under our present circumstances having spares is prudent. So I was hoping some of the old hands here would give me a bit of an education.

I figure the two mill end bits should have spares, but can you recommend any items that should be backed up? Drill bits too?

And what is a reasonable lifespan for mills and bits? I realize we're talking about aluminum here, but as an old retired carpenter most of my dealings were with wood. So this is a new medium for me.

Any other advice, tips and hints along the way will be appreciated as well. The interwebz is great, but nothing beats experience.
