What scope for a marlin 60?

Ive seen threads elsewhere but not here, not sure if i searched correctly, but suprised i didnt come across what i wanted.
Basically, what kind of scope would you guys suggest for a marlin 60, for 50 yard target practice? im lookin for a cheap one that gets the job done.

I got a cheapo Bushnell Rimfire 3-9x. Has worked great through several thousand rounds. Holds zero really well. Comes with mounts for the M60's dovetail rail. Real easy to mount / dismount without much loss of zero.

so is a dovetail the same as a grooved receiver or 5/8? do all marlin 60's have the same rail or have they used different rails over the years? thanks!

Ditto on the bushnell rimfire,about 36.00 @ Bimart. I like the quick focus feature,as well as the target style knobs under the adj. caps.
Having said that, I just got my 1st red dot,a used cheapie,and it's A HOOT to shoot with.

Far a I know all Marlin model 60's have the rail and always have.
