Though we did have a few of those pot metal, single-action revolvers that "fired" caps on a wound string of paper. We thought they were quite neat-o. Remember those?

Must have burned a ton of those rolls of paper caps over the years. Now days? Few kids chasing each other around with those and a SWAT team would show up

And to think I drilled the center out of the barrel on my second one so I could see sparks fly out the end. There weren't even laws about that sort of thing back then and it's probably a felony now.
