Just recently started experimenting with cast-iron cooking. Found a Lodge fry pan on #AD Amazon today that I think was a great deal.

I like cast iron for honey glazed pork chops - as well as making smash burgers, or searing filet mignons…. Among other tasty treats. I've got a couple of pieces of Lodge cast iron, you made a wise choice.

I got my wife a set of 80 year old Griswolds. 4 different sizes. Washed em with a SOS pad and put olive oil in them and baked at 300 for a couple of hours and they were good as new. They are "Seasoned". I paid 50 bucks shipped from a seller on eBay.

I wish I would have purchased one of these a couple of decades ago.

Totally worth it, had mine for 10-ish years and use it a lot.

Home Depot, perhaps others, will price-match Amazon, so keep that in mind if you'd rather buy local.

Living in Texas in the summertime heat, nothing sticks to the car window. I do not have my phone through the entertainment system so am always looking for a phone mount that doesn't fall off. I think i have found one. The base is rechargeable, works by vacuum (as opposed to suction) and has a magnetic phone holder that extends. To release it there is a 'button' on the side of the base that releases the vacuum.
Here are pics of the box, will get a video of it setup in the car and add it to this later

I bought myself and my grandson a pair of smart sunglasses. They come with clear glass and sunglass. They are great for movies on my tablet and taking calls. When I go to Wal-Mart and my wife calls. It is like her voice is inside my head plus the real bonus is all the people staring at me and saying : Look at that old man talking to himself. On Amazon you can get a nice set for around $50. Check them out.

My wife and I have been using those for years. They work great especially at night in bed when it's cold. Plus you can plug into it to charge your phone. It will last all night.
Buy an electric mattress pad and you will be comfy all night long. Stopped with the electric blankets long ago. With the heat coming from below you keeping it on Low or 1/2 its perfect !

Paid $60 on Amazon. Less than an electric blanket
