So I have seen many post on whats your favorite firearm.
So thought id ask what is your scrap iron, or best used as door stop firearm you have or had.

I had a Jennings 22LR that would jam every other round no matter what ammo I used.
Phoenix Arms HP22 its a 22lR with two barrels and every freaking safety addon made by man.
Its made in Ontario California and there is your clue. Its a good looking firearms arm, but gees
has Mag lock, hammer lock, trigger lock, mag can be removed unless safety is put on gees its like taking a math quiz to use it.

I have an old Remington 12ga my stepdad gave me.
It's a little beat up, rusty, but will keep it around. My stepdad said he bought it in the 60s and shot the heck out of it as a kid putting food on the table.

This damn SKS!!! :D

Hmmm, I don't any 'doorstop' firearms. Anything I have is fully functional and reliable. My father has an old .32 revolver (U.S. Arms, I think - haven't looked at it for a while) - it's not a high-quality gun, and doesn't function, but it has sentimental value, so he holds on to it.

And to stay on topic, besides my Ithaca .45 I store a few other family heirlooms that "could" be considered "scrap iron" by some who have an uneducated eye at a secure location. At home, it's a combination of Glocks depending on what room I am occupying.

high standard .22 Victor
Its so nice I shot it a few times but want to keep it in great conditon. I guess if I could find more mags for $30 Id shoot it a lot more. Since some parts and barrels are to be had online.

Hey those aren't rusty!!

Mine would have to be a 12G savage 420 O/U that has been on the project list for quite awhile. I've shot it, but the action pops open when firing the top barrel. It's a cool dual trigger shottie that will get safely working again....someday.
