Im new to handguns and started with a SA/DA with decocker that acts as a saftey (Bersa Thunder). So far, I like SA/DA with a decocker, wish the Bersa was like SIG where it returns to its position after decocking, unfamiliar with HK.
I have also shot Glock, SW M&P, and XD. Of those three I did like the XD better because of the grip (palm) saftey. As a beginner it just seem a little safer than just having a trigger saftey... avoiding AD's when hitting just the trigger like catching from a fall, or having something stick into the guard. Again, im a newb when it comes to handguns. Maybe these things dont really happen....
Also, I dont think I would like DAO, but Ive never actually shot one.
