My undergraduate degree is a BFA and my graduate degree is in psychology. What do I do for a living? I built custom furniture, then I was a house flipper, and now I am a bar owner. I am really doing a good job of wasting both degrees.
We are starting from the ground up. We just signed our lease a few weeks ago and have gutted the place to the studs. The stage side is about 60% complete and we will soon be starting on the lounge/bar side where most of the work is needed. How's the Bar ownership going?
This seems like one of those jobs that everybody dreams about, but then anyone you ever talk to who actually does it says it's way more work than you'd think?
Did you buy an established Bar or start fresh? And for goddsakes man are the waitresses hot?!!

Luckily I have worked in bars before so I knew how hard a job it was when going into it.
We do not have any staff hired yet. Unless you count the construction guys...and no, they are not that pretty.
Why are you wasting your time sitting around in a gun forum? Go out there and fix the economy already.Political Science and Business from UO

I find that fascinating. What do you plan on doing with your degree when you graduate? Translator?
