What is this revolver?

I saw this revolver on the Hogue Zombie Grip site. Anyone know what it is? Is it just a custom build? It looks pretty cool!

It is a customized Taurus. See the Cylinder release design.

The frame on the Taurus is hard to differentiate from a pre lock Smith, it looks like the cylnder had to be milled down to accommodate that barrel.

The shape is a bit different. Has a wing cut at the top.
But you could be right. The 500 Smith has one similar.

Looks to me like a Smith Model 25 in .45acp that has been worked over by the custom shop.

I agree, but that revolver is still cool! I was hoping it wasn't custom (though it isn't hard to see that it probably is) because I really want one!

It is a taurus. You can tell from the barrel lug taper and the cylinder release.

The cylinder release button on the gun in the picture looks exactly like the one on my S&W Model 66-7.

To my knowledge all the new post lock Smith's wear this style cylinder release as well as some of the pre-lock models; I'm not sure when Smith switched.
