Not long ago a female police officer was going to use her taser to bring down a crook who had climbed a tree and wouldn't come down.
She mistakenly grabbed her pistol instead of the taser and shot him in the butt. Needless to say he did come down.

Pretty hard to mistake a Glock for a TASER...at least im my mind.

I'd suppose that the taser is more like a stun gun with a pistol grip, and if you don't look and do a quick draw it's possible. Granted you should wear them on different sides and if you have to quick draw, better for it to be a gun than a taser. I agree, you would think it would be easy to tell the difference.
